Jason officially became a Partner in Traditional Muaythai in January 2020. He is our school’s resident expert when it comes to all things Muaythai. He certifies our trainers to ensure the teaching styles and techniques are true to the art. Here is some background on Kru Jason’s history in Muaythai:

Kru Jason started training Muaythai at the age of 15 in Calgary March of 1993 under the watchful eye of Ajarn Mike Miles. After only 6 months of training he stepped into the ring for the very first time. His fight career spanned over 15 years. Over the course of his fighting career Kru Jason was given many chances to not only represent his gym but also his country. Kru Jason has not only fought all across Canada but also throughout the United Sates as well as Mexico, the UK, Hungry and in several different cities in Thailand.

Throughout the course of his 57-fight career, Kru Jason faced many of the best in the sport and even some Muaythai royalty.

Kru Jason also won many titles including:

  • 5 Canadian Championship Titles
  • 3 Intercontinental Championship Titles
  • 1996 WKA World Welterweight Kickboxing Champion
  • 1999 WKA World Welterweight Muay Thai Champion

Ben started at our school shortly after we opened. He sets the pace for our teen class and assists with teaching the Kid’s classes. Ben brings discipline to both his training and his teaching standards.
